Why did you choose Stepping Stones Wee College as your childcare provider? 

We had Gloria’s name on the waiting lists at 3 places before she was even born!  Gloria was only 7 months old when she started at Stepping Stones….the second youngest they ever had I believe!!  We were impressed with the facility and even more impressed with the staff.  We knew that Gloria would be in caring and loving hands, which was great peace of mind for new parents!

As a parent, how important is family participation in childcare?

Family participation in childcare is very important to us!!  We have always had a great relationship with all of Gloria’s teachers, and they have always been more than happy to share a funny story…or a not so funny time out.  We love to hear about her day, both good and bad.  Attending the different events is important as well.  Like the Thanksgiving lunch… it’s a great way to meet the parents of Gloria’s friends, and share stories…and sometimes advice!

What is your fondest memory of the center thus far?

That would have to be the Christmas concert because it was our first one!!  And picking her up each evening is a highlight too!!

What do you like to do as a family for fun?

Since we live in the country we spend a lot of time outside!  Gloria loves to dig in the garden and get dirty!  We go for walks in the fields and woods, and pick blueberries!  On rainy days, we stay inside and color, read books, play with blocks and lots of other toys!

How important is childcare to your family?

Extremely!!  Since we both work during the day, it’s important that Gloria is in a safe and happy environment.  We love the interaction she has with other children…she has so much fun and learns so much which she always willingly shares on the way home!  Gloria is a very loving little girl and we always know she is getting that same love back!  It’s helping Gloria interact with other children, learn, try new things and make friends that will hopefully last a lifetime!
