December 2008 News
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
November passed with the wink of an eye and Christmas will soon be here. AS you may have noticed, a lot of changes have occurred within our classroom. We now have a parent board, birthday arch, dream chart, new shelving and new placement of furniture and toys. We did this in an effort to make things more informative for you, as parents, and more personal and accessible for your little angels.
In November we focused on our community. Discussing different jobs within our community, we made medicine kits, collages and fire trucks. The children love walking around the neighbourhood, discovering the all the things and people in our community. All the children have been working hard to practice our songs for the Christmas concert. They are all so excited to perform for you.
Our class has been very fortunate to receive 2 active kids tool kits which are full of neat tools or items that are sure to stimulate and create lots of new fun for your child.
We would like to send a warm welcome to our new friend Molly. She is getting to know all the children, and is having a great time so far!
December will be full of Christmas fun, including songs, crafts, activities, and a visit from Santa himself.
With the arrival of the cold weather and our first snowfall, please remember to bring hats, mittens, snow pants and snow boots everyday.
We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season!
