NOVEMBER 2008
Dear Parents,
October has come, and was gone before we knew it. The past month brought some changes to which the children responded remarkable well.
During this past month we have talked about the different changes in nature. We felt warm & cold water. The warm water was obviously much more popular! We saw the leaves change colours, and had many opportunities to play with them. The kids loved feeling the crunching the leaves in the fingers.
The children loved helping decorate for Halloween, from spooky glow in the dark spooky skeletons, jack-o-lanterns & “fluffy” ghosts. It was a real hands on project!
November is bringing a few more exciting changes. Alexandra, from the Jr. Toddler class, will be moving up to the Sr. Toddler’s class. The Jr. Toddlers are welcoming two new friends fro the Infant room; Ethan & Owen.
The children will be practicing for our Christmas concert all month long. It is on November 28th.
This month we will learn all about helping others, starting with our Food Drive: November 3-7. Please bring 1 non-perishable food item each day during this week. We will also be learning more about the community around us – RIVERVIEW! We will look at maps and pictures of places around us that we can recognize!
