Hello Families!
November has quickly arrived, and with it has brought much colder weather. Please send your child with warm clothing, such as a warm hat, mittens, splash pants and rubber boots. These things can be left here at the center, so they are available every day. Your child will enjoy their daily outdoor time so much more if they are warm. We would also appreciate 2 full changes of clothing to be kept in a backpack or cubby in case of an unexpected accident or spill. Please label all items with your child’s name.
October brought many new changes to the Junior Preschool class: new experiences, new skills and new faces. We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving Lunch with many of our wonderful families. We are truly thankful for such wonderful families. As Halloween quickly approached we let our imaginations soar through many silly songs, spooky stories and creepy creations. The children had a blast trick-or-treating throughout the centre. Thank you for all our scrumptious Halloween Lunch goodies – we couldn’t have done it without you and the children loved it.
November brings a few more changes as we say good-bye to Marissa and Jayda as they move up to the “Wee R Three” class – we all hope you girls have lots of fun! We will see you in the playground! J We are welcoming two new friends to the Junior Preschool class. Welcome Ian and Damian!! We are excited to have you join our class!
Throughout November we will be focusing on ideas surrounding our community – mapping out Riverview, talking about different community helpers, and helping out those in need. Our annual food drive will be taking place November 3rd -7th. Please place all non-perishable donations in the boxes available throughout the centre. Thank you in advance for helping us help others in our community - this small gesture teaches our children great and wonderful things.
Families, please feel welcome to come and visit any time. Feel free to come in and play and explore along with your child – or just to scope things out. If you have any questions or concerns about anything, please let us know. J
Happy Birthday to Ian Robichaud. He turns 3 on November 24th.
