Helping the Community

 

Stepping Stones Wee College not only understands the importance of helping your little ones learn and strive, we understand the importance of helping our community.  Our staff and parents are often involved in non-profit community events, which in turn teaches your child to better recognize the importance of helping others.

Community Involvement: 

Stepping Stones Wee college was pleased to participate again this year in CIBC Run for the Cure. This year the Wee Colleges raised over $3700.00. We were very happy and grateful to have families join our team this year. Many thanks go out to the staff and families of our centers as we could not have raised so much money without them. Our families helped us raise $920.00 during our Family Fun Day held in September. Of course a successful family day would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from our wonderful staff.
 

Food Drive:


 Every November the Wee Colleges work together with their families and collect non-perishable food items for the Albert County Food Bank.  The children are happy to help out families in need.  Stepping Stones successfully collected over 350 pounds of food this year.  We would like to thank everyone for their continued support!
